Can tutoring help you? Always. Below you will find various articles about how tutoring can benefit you. Beneficial to any and every student I'm here to find the best way to support students needs.
In my own education I have always been stubbornly committed to understanding why things work the way they do. It's a big reason I ended up focusing on Math, Physics and Advocacy and I apply this need to know why things work to my tutoring.
My approaches are validated in The Seattle Times Claire Bryans' article "How two local tutoring groups are helping students catch up in math" which highlights the need for new ways to teach math. One of the tutoring groups uses a resource I do for working with students that covers lots of subjects for K-12: Khan Academy. Tutoring support with resources like this ensures students not only learn the answers to "how do I do this?" but also "why does this work?"
